As Founder, Chairperson and Managing Director of AksharChem (India) Limited, Mrs. Paru M. Jaykrishna is the key strategic decision and policy maker, ensuring growth and innovation needed to have a transformational impact. One of the most renowned Women Entrepreneurs of India, she was also the first woman to be elected as the President of Gujarat Chambers of Commerce and Industry. In the past, she has served on the Directorial Board of various entities such as Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd, Gujarat State Handloom House Corporation and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Mrs. Jaykrishna is a Law Graduate, and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Sanskrit, and a Masters degree in English Literature.
Mr. Munjal M. Jaykrishna serves as the Joint Managing Director & CEO of the company. A proven leader, Mr. Jaykrishna is driving the transformation of AksharChem (India) Limited in the direction of sustainability, value creation and balanced growth. He has a deep understanding of the heartbeat of the market, and accordingly alters his strategy towards new ventures and expansion. His extensive range of knowledge, experience, and expertise has positioned him as the trusted leader and face of AksharChem (India) Limited.
Prior to taking the reins as CEO of AksharChem (India) Limited, Mr Munjal built a diverse and successful career working with the Bank of California (San Francisco) as a Financial Analyst. He majored in Finance and Marketing from Lehigh University, Bethlehem (USA).
Mr. R Muralidharan serves as the Vice President for AksharChem (India) Limited’s new green field project for silica. Prior to this, he acquired the rich experience of working in the Industrial Sales & Marketing space for over 35 years. He spent 7 years with Cosmo Films, marketing BOPP films for the packaging industry, followed by 28 years with Evonik India marketing their silica grades in and outside the country. Over time, Mr. Muralidharan earned a high degree of respect from customers, and also acquired sound knowledge about silica applications in varied industries.
Mr. R Muralidharan graduated with a distinction in Mathematics from Madras University, and has further obtained his Post Graduate Degree in Management from Annamalai University.
Along with precipitated silica, AksharChem (India) Limited is working on introducing new grades of silica known as “Highly Dispersible Silica.” This product is manufactured with advanced silica technology for increased rubber reinforcement in tire and rubber Industries. It improves rolling resistance for better fuel efficiency, playing a vital role in manufacturing “Green Tires” with Low Rolling Resistance to meet the new requirements as per BharatVI regulations.
For all rubber goods, it imparts excellent tear, abrasion, tensile, hardness & modulus properties. Highly Dispersible Silica also increases the overall vulcanizate properties in rubber for increased durability.
