AKSIL CS grade of silicas are carefully tailored precipitated silica for use as a carrier silica for converting liquids into free flowing powders. The physical and chemical properties are designed in such a way that these silicas impart increased application benefits in Agro Chemical Industries for manufacturing various pesticides formulations.
AKSIL CS grade of silicas possesses a high absorption characteristics which help in carrying liquids in its pores and still remains as a free flow dry powder. Being chemically inert, highly absorbent and free flowing, these grades of silicas help convert various liquid molecules into free flowing powder in order to make it compatible to mix with other powder ingredients to produce final powder pesticide formulation.
With the help of AKSIL CS grades of silica, the pesticide manufacturer can ensure precise dosage of active molecules in the final pesticide formulation due to excellent carrier characteristics exhibited by the silica particles. These silicas also help improve the flow characteristics of the powder substrates where it is applied based on compatibility of particles of silica and the substrate.
Being hydrophilic in nature, AKSIL CS grades of silica help improve the wettability of the powder formulations for improved spraying operations of the pesticides on crops. This is also used as grinding agent for low melting substances in agro chemical formulations in addition to the carrier and free flow characteristics.
In order to sure that the properties of AKSIL CS grade of silicas remain intact, our precipitated silica grades are required to be stored in closed and dry premises against exposure to volatile substances. Strict adherence to the storage conditions ensures prolonged usability. We generally recommend storage period of not more than one year with strict observance of storage parameters.
Silica is an inert, non-toxic, non-hazardous white compound. Complete details regarding the product safety are available in our Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) which will be distributed at the time of supplies. We recommend that information regarding product safety of our silica grades may be obtained and carefully read prior to their use.
